Sit back, close your eyes and imagine with me for a second…Ok wait, this isn’t an audio, keep your eyes open so you can read this short but powerful message!
Doubt can be a real enemy of our own imagination. Doubt and fear can neutralize what God really wants and plans to do in our life. It takes courage to imagine. Why? Because most of the time it takes courage to move against those fears that are nagging against our imagination.
Remember when you were a kid how great your imagination was? It was so easy for us then! For some of us our imaginations even ran wild! Does anyone remember day dreaming? Ok maybe that was just me! But the older we get as life beats us down the more our imagination stops growing with us. We stop imagining how things could be and start living just the way we are. When we stop using our imagination power our life just becomes stagnant. Remember the ole saying, use it or lose it?
Sometimes it’s best to ignore all those insecure feelings and just say, “Ok here it is, I’m going all out for it. I’m going to do this even though I’m scared to death, insecure, worried about what others may think and what if I fail?” What if you don’t? When we do something while we’re afraid the fear tends to melt away.
It’s time to believe and banish those imagine numbing doubts running around inside our head. The problem so many people have today is they are believing what’s false and doubting what’s true.
Instead say out loud, “I’m not going to allow fear to dominate my life; I’m going to allow faith to dominate my life. I’m going to trust and believe the truth. All things are possible with God.” Listen to your imagination talking about all the good things that can happen and you’ll start moving forward head first. God is trustworthy!
