This Paleo bacon nut bar is full of protein and fat, gluten and grain free. I have not made these yet but wanted to share the recipe from Pete’s Paleo because they really look awesome! 4
We use sugar-free bacon from Pederson’s, no nitrites, no antibiotics, no junk.

Ingredients
- 1 Cup each of toasted pecans or walnuts almonds, whatever you have on hand.
- 1 / 4 cup raw honey
- 1 / 4 cup almond butter
- 1 cup cooked bacon sliced and julienne. Plus use all the drippings

Instructions
- Add bacon, drippings, nuts, honey and almond butter into food processor and pulse. Add a little more honey and almond butter if needed. Add just a pinch of sea salt.
- Add a little cinnamon if you’d like.
- Heat oven to 325. Spread a little olive oil into your pan and then press mixture into pan. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes. Cool and then put in Frig for 1 to 2 hours to set. Cut into bars and enjoy!
