Easy Slow Cooker Tex Mex Beef Chili
I found this recipe and tweaked it! It’s really more like a stew and is so unbelievably favorable!!
Ingredients
  • 3 packages stew meat
  • onion
  • Small Jalapeño and some Pablano pepperwe had the Pablano left over from the grill the night before
  • removed seeds Turned out with just the right heat!I used the other peppers from our garden and definitely had to remove the seeds!
  • 2oz Large Beef Steak Tomatoes cut upI used fresh tomatoes right from our garden but you could use a 15can of diced tomatoes
  • 3cloves garlic
  • 2cups Gluten Free Pacific Chicken BrothI used this because of using the fresh tomatoes and wanted more liquid and it turned out awesome!
  • 1 package organic chili mixfrom Whole Foods
  • 1/4t cinnamon
  • 1/4t Cumin
  • kosher salt
  • Garlic Pepper and some regular coarse pepper
  • 3cloves garlic
  • 2cups Gluten Free Pacific Chicken BrothI used this because of using the fresh tomatoes and wanted more liquid and it turned out awesome!

  • 1/4t Cumin
  • kosher salt
  • Garlic Pepper and some regular coarse pepper
Instructions
  1. Sauté meat in 3 Tablespoons of canola oil
  2. Cut up onion, tomatoes, peppers, garlic and add to crock pot
  3. Add broth
  4. Cook 5 hours in the slow cooker
  5. Topped with Creme Frische or sour cream and some cilantro from our garden!
